On 03/09/2026, Philadelphia police attempted to stop a Nissan traveling at high speed westbound on West Godfrey Avenue. The driver continued driving, and officers followed. The vehicle ran a stop sign at North 20th Street and struck a Honda driven by a 72-year-old woman, then crashed into multiple parked vehicles. The impact ejected occupants from the Nissan.
