On 03/19/2026, Harrison County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call in the area of Robinson Road and 5 Oaks Drive. Deputies located a vehicle connected to the call and approached it. As a deputy walked toward the vehicle, the driver, identified as 42 year old Fallus Williams, drove toward the deputy. The situation escalated and the deputy opened fire, striking her. Williams was transported to a hospital where she later died from gunshot wounds. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is conducting an independent investigation into the shooting.
