On 03/22/2026, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call on James Drive. Deputies attempted to take Jonathan Aaron McElroy into custody. Deputies deployed a Taser during the arrest. McElroy became unresponsive and was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
