OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

Beech Grove police officers observed a gray Dodge Challenger driving recklessly and escalated a pursuit. Officers ended the pursuit after losing sight of the vehicle. Shortly afterward, the vehicle crashed into another car near South Sherman Drive. Two men in the struck vehicle were killed. Two occupants from the fleeing vehicle were transported to hospitals. Police detained a 20-year-old man in connection with the crash.
