Police responded to information about a homicide investigation and located a man near a Taco Bell at South First Street and West Broadway. Officers approached him and gave commands. Police reported that the man pulled out a gun and fired at officers. Officers opened fire, striking him. After he fell, officers fired again while he still had the gun. He died from his injuries.
