On 04/09/2026, a Frederick County Sheriff's Office deputy attempted to stop a vehicle traveling at high speed on I-70. The driver did not stop. Police chased the vehicle through multiple streets at speeds exceeding 100 mph. The vehicle exited onto Monocacy Boulevard and continued toward East Street. Shortly after, the vehicle crashed near S. East Street and the roundabout. Amori Elona Terrell was killed in the crash.
