On 04/07/2026, Ralph Eric Ramirez was involved in an incident at an Arby’s restaurant on South Palo Verde Road in Tucson, where a bail bondsman attempted to take him into custody. During the encounter, he fired multiple rounds at the bondsman and toward an occupied restaurant before leaving the area. No injuries were reported. An arrest warrant was issued. On 04/15/2026, deputies located him at a residence near Ajo Way and Camino de Oeste and obtained a warrant to enter. While SWAT personnel were securing the perimeter, a gunshot was heard from inside the home. Deputies entered and found him deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
