On 04/20/2026, Goshen Police Department officers responded to a shooting near Clinton Street and 3rd Street where a woman was found with fatal gunshot wounds. Police identified Aaron T. Holliday as the person responsible and began searching for him.

Officers located Holliday driving in Fulton County. A deputy attempted a traffic stop. He did not stop. Police escalated a chase that continued through multiple counties including Fulton, Cass, and Pulaski.

Indiana State Police used a maneuver to stop the vehicle. After the vehicle came to a stop, officers approached. During the approach, a gunshot was heard from inside the vehicle. Holliday died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
