OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 04/23/2026, deputies with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office and Harnett County Sheriff’s Office responded to The Domain apartments on Wallingford Road to serve an arrest warrant. A SWAT team assembled outside the residence. While deputies attempted to serve the warrant, they heard gunshots from inside the apartment. Deputies entered the residence and found the individual dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. No officers discharged their weapons.
