On 04/11/2026, Pierce Township Police Department officers and Clermont County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a suicidal man with a gun at a mobile home park located at 1751 E Ohio Pike. Family members reported Keith Reynolds was intoxicated and experiencing a mental health crisis. Officers attempted to communicate with him during a standoff outside the residence. Police stated Reynolds would not drop the firearm when officers confronted him, and officers opened fire, killing him. Family members later described the incident as a cry for help and said Reynolds had struggled with mental health issues. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is conducting the investigation.
