OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

North Carolina Highway Patrol said Michael Hall was driving north on the Yadkin River Veterans Memorial Bridge around 9 a.m. when he ran off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, and crashed into a concrete barrier. The vehicle overturned onto its side. Davidson County sheriff’s officials said Hall broke a window, climbed out of the vehicle, and jumped from the bridge into the water below. Rescue crews later recovered him from the water and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office pronounced him dead. Officials said an autopsy will determine the cause of death.
