Texas Department of Public Safety troopers attempted to stop a vehicle in Lubbock County. The driver did not stop. Troopers escalated a chase that continued into Terry County near Brownfield. During the pursuit, the vehicle crashed on U.S. Highway 62/82. Authorities said the driver died from injuries sustained in the crash. DPS is investigating the pursuit and crash.
