On 05/15/2026, deputies and Arkansas State Police responded to a residence on Cat Holler Road near Ozark after reports of multiple stabbings. Investigators said two people inside the home were found dead from stab wounds. Two additional people outside the residence were injured and transported for treatment. Police said a man barricaded himself inside the home, leading to a prolonged standoff involving deputies, Arkansas State Police troopers, and a SWAT team.
