On 05/19/2026, Dyersburg Police Department officers responded to the North Tennyson area for a welfare check involving Johnny Etheridge, 41. Police took Etheridge into custody and charged him with assault on an officer and resisting arrest. He was transported to the Dyer County Law Enforcement Center.
