On 05/01/2026, a Glynn County Police Department officer was driving a patrol vehicle on GA Highway 32 while responding to an unrelated call with emergency lights and siren activated. During the response, the patrol vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Patricia Tapley as she was turning at an intersection. Tapley was killed in the crash.
