On 05/30/2026, officers with the Fraser Department of Public Safety responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a residence in the 17000 block of Breezeway in Fraser, Michigan. Officers encountered 15 year old Ayden Gould inside the residence. Under circumstances that have not been fully disclosed by authorities, an officer opened fire and struck Gould. He was transported to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. The officer involved was placed on administrative leave. The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is conducting the investigation.
