On 06/15/2026, Mohave County Sheriff's Office deputies responded at approximately 9:25 a.m. to a reported domestic violence incident in the 17000 block of East Blue Willow Lane, about 30 miles east of Kingman. During the investigation, a 48-year-old woman produced a firearm. Two deputies shot her. Deputies provided medical aid until paramedics arrived, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bullhead City Police Department is conducting the investigation, and the two deputies involved were placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
