On 06/23/2026, deputies with the Page County Sheriff's Office responded to the 400 block of Honeyville Road for a woman experiencing a mental health crisis. According to police, the woman suffered a self-inflicted graze wound to the head before pointing a handgun at deputies. Officers then shot her. She was transported to a hospital, where she died from her injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
