On 06/26/2026, officers with the Broomfield Police Department responded to the 200 block of Flint Way after reports of an armed man. During the encounter, officers shot the man. He was transported to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. The 17th Judicial District Critical Incident Response Team is investigating the shooting.
