Event : Motorcycle driver killed by police chase crash

OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

On 07/02/2026, a 20-year-old man died after crashing a moped into a brick wall following a Baltimore police traffic stop. Officers attempted to stop two mopeds in the 100 block of N. Eutaw Street. One rider stopped, while the other continued driving away. Police said they did not pursue the rider. Less than a mile away, the moped struck a brick wall, ejecting the driver. He was transported to a hospital, where he died. The Baltimore Police Crash Team is investigating.
