On 07/07/2026, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents conducted a targeted enforcement operation in the 6800 block of Canal Street in Houston to arrest Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, 52. ICE stated that agents attempted a vehicle stop and alleged that Salgado Araujo continued driving, struck an ICE vehicle, and attempted to run over an agent.
