On 07/05/2026, Beaverton Police Department officers responded to an armed robbery at the Nectar marijuana dispensary located at 8705 SW Hall Boulevard. The robbery was reported shortly before the store's 10:00 p.m. closing time. Officers located a person believed to be involved in the robbery within minutes. During the encounter, officers shot the individual. The person was pronounced dead at the scene. No officers, employees, or other members of the public were injured. The Washington County Major Crimes Team is conducting the investigation, and the identity of the deceased has not been publicly released.
