NARRATIVE:
On 08/15/2026, an unidentified 54-year-old man was killed when he crashed while fleeing police during an early-morning pursuit in Clarion County, Pennsylvania.

At approximately 1:48 a.m., Clarion Borough Police Department officers were pursuing the man's vehicle in the area of North 5th Avenue in Clarion Borough. Clarion Borough police contacted the Pennsylvania State Police at Clarion for assistance with the pursuit.

During the pursuit, the 54-year-old driver crashed. He died as a result of the collision. A 58-year-old woman who was riding as a passenger in the vehicle was injured. Her condition was not disclosed in the initial reporting.
