At approximately 3:30 a.m., an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer saw Edward Baxter driving a 2001 Buick LeSabre near Kentucky Avenue and South Tibbs Avenue and recognized him as a person with active felony warrants. The officer attempted to stop Baxter, who continued driving away at high speed while IMPD pursued. On 10/24/2025, 33-year-old Alicia Nicole Lane was killed while riding in the front passenger seat of a Buick LeSabre driven by Edward Baxter during an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department pursuit on the city's southwest side. Baxter crashed the Buick into a semi-truck at Raymond and Harding streets.

Officers responded to a business on Olive Street in Aurora after reports that Bowman was intoxicated and threatening patrons. Bowman fled in his vehicle when officers made contact, and a chase began on Highway K. He was driving erratically, left the roadway, and struck a tree. Officers extracted Bowman and began CPR. He was transported by ambulance and later died from his injuries. The incident remains under investigation.

The motorcycle reached speeds in excess of 100 mph. The rider swerved to avoid a vehicle near Belvedere-Clearwater Road, lost control, and was ejected from the 2013 Harley-Davidson. Walker was transported to Wellstar MCG Health where he died at 11:03 p.m. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.

Police said a car was being chased by another vehicle whose occupants fired gunshots. The chased vehicle lost control, crashed, and ejected two people.
