Hollywood police were sent to a residence in the 6600 block of Eaton Street for an altercation between neighbors. Police fired a taser at a man and then shot and killed him for unknown reasons.
Juan Wu brother said that police arrived and entered the home without permission and demanded that he get out of the house and give them ID. The brother said that Woo refused to give ID and asked police to leave. The officer then began yelling and fired the taser. The family also stated that no one in the family speaks English. The brother tried to tell the officer in Spanish that who is mentally ill due to military PTSD. Nevertheless, the officer shot and killed him. Woo leaves behind a wife with cancer and a child.
