On 02/27/2022, Mooresville Police attempted to stop a vehicle on State Road 67 after officers identified it as stolen. The driver, later identified as 44-year-old Jason Howard, did not stop. Police initiated a pursuit along State Road 67.
During the chase, the fleeing vehicle reached speeds reported to be over 100 miles per hour. While traveling southbound, the vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Vickie Berry. The crash caused both vehicles to ignite.

On 02/27/2022, Houston Police officers located a vehicle in northeast Houston that had been reported carjacked at gunpoint earlier that day. On 02/26/2022, Cheyenne Police officers responded to a report that a woman was using methamphetamine at Wyoming Downs, 3617 E Lincolnway. Officers made contact, and the woman drove away in another person’s vehicle. Cheyenne Police and Laramie County deputies escalated a pursuit through Cheyenne at high speed.
Deputies deployed spike strips to stop the vehicle. After the vehicle came to a stop, officers approached. The woman shot herself inside the vehicle. She was transported for medical care and later died from the gunshot wound.

On 02/20/2022, New Hampshire State Police responded just before 11:30 p.m. to a reported domestic violence incident at a residence on County Road in Walpole. Troopers arrived and made contact with occupants outside the home while Christopher Tkal, 57, remained inside as the sole resident still in the residence. Troopers then conducted an interior encounter with Tkal inside the home environment rather than a public or outdoor contact. During that encounter, investigators determined Tkal had a rifle.
