Pedestrian Cody Shelton was a restaurant chef who was walking on 7th and River at 1 a.m. when run over and killed by a car being chased by police for a narcotics warrant. The car fled. Shelton died at the scene. Cody Jordan Shelton died and a second pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
