At approximately 3:00 AM on March 10, 2024, officers from the Surprise Police Department responded to a domestic violence call at a residence located at the intersection of Waddell and Dysart Roads in Surprise, Arizona. Upon arrival, officers encountered Trinidad Ledesma, who was allegedly seen with a weapon. The situation escalated, and officers shot and killed Ledesma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
