On 12/08/2025, Alex Canizales, age 40, died after being shot by Los Angeles Police Department officers in the West Valley Division of Los Angeles, California. On 12/07/2025 Pennsylvania State Police attempted to stop Cristian F Jimenez just after midnight. Police chased him and he struck two troopers as he fled. On 12/02/2025, deputies pursued Kristopher Johnson on US 1 near International Golf Parkway for unknown reasons. During the encounter police opened fire and killed the individual. The pursuit and shooting occurred along the highway corridor and the investigation is ongoing.
