The US Border Patrol El Centro Sector of CBP chased a vehicle until it crashed and the driver died. The vehicle was allegedly stolen. Police deployed spike strips, causing the front tires to deflate, the vehicle to crash and the driver to die. At 07/28/2024 update, the driver had not been publicly identified by police yet.
