OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Police attempted a traffic stop, but the driver did not stop. Police escalated a pursuit and deployed spike strips, disabling the vehicle near the intersection of Goodfellow Boulevard and Lillian Avenue. Three juveniles exited the vehicle and fled on foot. During the chase, police alleged that one of the juveniles, 17-year-old Emeshyon Wilkins, pointed a gun. Police opened fire, killing Wilkins.
