OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
A 911 caller had claimed that Henderson was attempting to break into a home on Highland Street. West Virginia State Police and special response teams from the Brooke and Hancock County sheriffs’ departments and Weirton Police joined investigating officers from Follansbee at Henderson’s home, where he had locked himself in. Tear gas was forced into Henderson’s home. He fled and allegedly had a gun. Police shot and killed him at this home.
