Gordon County Sheriff’s Office chased a vehicle in the belief that it may be linked to drug activity. Police escalated the chase to 100 mph and then attacked the vehicle with a PIT maneuver. It crashed predictably, killing the driver. Police has not confirmed or denied the drug allegations which were the reason for the fatal chase.
