Coffeyville PD allegedly tried to traffic–stop Derik J Trotter who was wanted for reasons police did not disclose. Police allegedly tried to detain him in order to serve a search warrant for items in his possession. He reportedly resisted being handcuffed and tried to escape. Two officers fired taser at him and a third fired his gun and shot and killed him.
