A crash happened before 4:00 p.m. near the intersection of Theodosia and Arlington avenues, killing an unidentified young man who had allegedly fled from a detective with an anti-crime task force. Police escalated a chase, placed spike strips and the vehicle hit a series of other vehicles and came to a stop. A passenger in the vehicle died.
