OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

Happawana was believed to have killed a 44-year-old woman. When officers arrived at his home, he shot at them and fled into his home. Police heard an explosion a short time later which turned out to be from a gas tank. SWAT arrived and evacuated the neighborhood and shot and killed him.
