OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Dimitri Klimov had argued with other men and reportedly gone inside to get a gun and shot in the air twice before retreating to the house. An officer had arrived on a domestic disturbance call. A taser was used. The man had shot the officer through the hand. He was shot and killed by Philadelphia police on 06/01/2023. It later turned out that the officer was shot by friendly fire and that the man had never fired a shot, strongly disputing the police narrative that many shell casings had been found and he had been shooting in the home.
