LASD were sent to a residence at 8425 Quimby St. in Paramount because 30-year-old man and mental health crisis had started a domestic disturbance. LASD arrived, found him in the backyard, holding a pair of kitchen scissors, allegedly feared for their lives, tased him and then opened fire and killed him.
