OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Two San Gabriel PD officers attempted to traffic stop a man who drove away. The officers escalated a chase through San Gabriel, which ended at the intersections of Charlotte and Garvey Avenue. Two officers opened fire and shot the man. There is currently no report that he had been armed or a threat to police and more information is needed to understand why police killed him. 8/1/2024
