OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Austin PD received a call about a “prowler” who was allegedly trying to get inside of a nail salon. The man had a rock and an unspecified weapon. Police arrived and spent several minutes in an unknown exchange with him and then shot and killed him. Five officers fired bullets at him. Bodycam reveals what sounds like 100 shots fired from semiautomatic weapons at him and is linked below.
