San Diego PD chased a 30-year-old motorcyclist until a crash occurred as a result in City Heights“at a high rate of speed” shortly before 2 a.m. as part of a traffic stop. Police escalated a chase and the motorcycle crashed at the 3300 block of Lincoln Avenuewhere the motorcyclist was ejected from the bike, hit a metal guardrail and died at the scene. He has not been publicly identified and police did not elaborate why they had initiated this fatal crash over a failed traffic stop.
