San Jose PDreport that Robert Seth Carter stole a vehicle and attempted to steal another at gunpoint. This failed and he fled with the first vehicle and crashed it on Hedding Street and Park Avenue in San Jose. A shootout between him and police ensued and he was shot and killed by an unknown number of officers.
