OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Members of the Colorado Springs Crisis Response Team were initially called on Nov. 15 when Dizmang was seen walking out into traffic. A police officer, paramedic from the city’s fire department and a mental health clinician responded to the scene, forced the unarmed man on the ground and handcuffed him. He suffered a cardiac arrest. While he had some meth in his system, the coroner ruled that the main reason he died was cardiac arrest due to being held down. His death was ruled a homicide. No known charges against the officers.
