OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Indiana State Police troopers were on state road 66 when they tried to pull over a vehicle. Masterson did not stop, instead shot at troopers. He got out of his car, stole a truck and ended up ramming his car into several police cars. He then got out of his truck and ran away into his apartment. A large police presence surrounded the apartment. Masterson opened the window and fired at the officers. An unknown number of officers fired back. Police sent a drone to the apartment and found him dead.
