Keansburg PD were called about a pharmacy robbery. They arrived, pointed military rifles and many semiautomatic weapons at a man with a knife who charged officers and was shot dead. Police officers Jillian Putkowski, Christopher Rogan, and Richard Johnson shot and killed Sutton.
