OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
San Francisco police received a call that two men were apparently fighting. When police arrived, they claimed the men were beating each other and that they “had knives.” Police omitted mentioning whether they had used the knives or not. A lot of officers arrived with military rifles and shot and killed Michael McPhionghain and Rafael Mendoza.
