Police in an unmarked vehicle attempted to pull over Carlos Roberts Jr. for a traffic violation but he allegedly did not comply and fled. Officers allege that he immediately stepped from his vehicle and fired a weapon at them. He at the time may have believed he was being attacked by a civilian as the officer and vehicle were both unmarked while chasing him. A total of 43 shots were fired. Police shot and killed him. His family questions the police narrative and asked anyone who may be an eyewitness to step forward.
