Prince Gurly was allegedly involved in some sort of disturbance with his mother. Marion police officer Adam Bott, inserted himself into the situation and claim that Gurly had a knife. Even his mother asked the officers to leave as they were not needed. Police claim that he moved toward them with a knife, and they shot and killed him despite the family attempting to prevent police aggression.
