Deputies from Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties responded to reports alleging shots fired. Police claim that they arrived and David began firing at them. Police brought SWAT, Crisis Negotiation Teams and Highway Patrol and the man allegedly started shooting again. Police shot and killed him.
