LAPD chased an allegedly stolen Toyota Avalon in the Florence neighborhood when the driver fled at high rate of speed. Police chased the vehicle but stayed farther back but apparently did not abandon the chase when the vehicle struck and killed pedestrian Marquin Nwude whose legs were severed during the crash.
